Brief History

Recently returned to the island, Roxy brings a strong background in real estate sales.  Roxy earned “1998 Rookie of the Year” shortly after she joined the San Diego real estate firm Century 21 Rattan. With solid training from a reputable real estate firm under her belt, Roxy moved to Prudential Keystone. There she learned Texas real estate as the REO/Relocation Manager. Taking the knowledge of managing and marketing foreclosed and corporate-owned properties with her Roxy joined Prudential San Diego Realty in 1994. When they merged with Prudential California Realty a few years later Roxy was asked to take on a management role. She would review transaction files to ensure CA Dept. of Real Estate compliance. Eventually Roxy grew into a mentor role as a sales manager. A feet-on-the-ground manager Roxy continued to sell homes, condos, farm and apartment complexes. She worked through two ‘down’ real estate markets learning how to market and sell ‘short-sale’ properties. And she continued her real estate education graduating from the Realtor Institute, earning her G.R.I. designation.

Roxy is pleased to join Windermere Orcas Island where she may add to her extensive knowledge of real estate. She says, “Whether you are a seller or a buyer you hire the the real estate professional you use. I’d like the opportunity to interview for the job.”

I enjoy the surprise of what I might learn today.  I also hike on Orcas and neighboring islands with a group of ladies known as “The Hardy Hikers”. I find that giving back to the community through volunteer work is incredibly rewarding. Currently I help the Friends of Moran. But I’ve been seen at the Orcas Center, Annual Pet Parade, the annual Fly-in and a few other events. See you around!
